Thanks for visiting Ruby’s Resort Ratings. I am a married woman, mother of two, grandmother of 2, and I have a passion for life and travel. I would love to share my thoughts on some of the resorts I have stayed at with you. Here you will find ratings on resorts ranging from the Disney Caribbean Resort to Beaches Negril in Jamaica.
I will use a suitcase rating system ranging from 1 suitcase (don’t go) to 5 suitcases (must go). I plan to share my thoughts on the following categories;
Accommodations – The accommodations rating will be a rating of the room I stayed in based on a number of other factors. How well was it decorated, quality of furniture, size, view, and mechanical stuff (tv’s and coffee makers).
Facilities – This will be a look at the pools, hot tubs, gym, tennis courts, shuffle board areas, this kind of stuff.
Dining – This could get a little tricky since not all resort reviews will be about All Inclusive Resorts. Disney is not all inclusive, but they have a dining plan. This dining review will be more about food options, availability, and quality.
Service – This is pretty much self explanatory but it will cover how were handled at check in, check out, and how issues were addressed when they came up. This will also cover housekeeping and other service areas.
Employees – How was I treated when I was there by the people that worked there is very important as well. Did I feel like a welcomed guest, or an inconvenience and given just the basic straight faced courtesies while I was there.
Overall Rating – This is just a mathematical average of the above 5 ratings.
I will also try to share some of my thoughts about the area we visited but will not include that in the rating as some of the places we visit are third world countries and their economic state should not serve as a point of contention when rating. I might talk about some of the snorkeling we did, tours, and shopping on here too.
Stick around and get ready to read some of Ruby’s Resort Reviews.
Thanks,
Ruby
